When I think of Teddy, I think of a strong, vibrant, beautiful human being. Even with all her health challenges (when I knew her), Teddy remained fiercely strong in spirit and radiated an inner beauty and spunk. She had an openness to people and the world which I appreciated and I also saw expressed in her children. She was an earthy, down-to-earth, bright, interesting, talented woman. Her smile conveyed so much- a sense of warmth, playfulness, wisdom, love of life, love of love.
She seemed to celebrate and marvel in the physical, the intellectual, the spiritual, the artistic, the natural throughout her life. When I think of Teddy I smile and feel myself stand up a bit straighter-she inspired those of us fortunate enough to know her. She was a remarkable person who lived a remarkable life. Teddy was full of life; she lived a full life; and she inspired others to engage in life richly and fully. She was a force of a nature who will be deeply missed and not forgotten!
